For many years, I enjoyed teaching English to middle school and high school students.  In addition to being an avid reader, I have had a passion for writing since I was a child and derived much satisfaction from encouraging my students to write and then reading their efforts.

My husband and I have one wonderful daughter, a terrific son-in-law, two delightful grandchildren (a girl and a boy who definitely keep us on our toes), a six-year-old dappled dachshund with issues, and a thirteen-year-old neurotic-but-adorable granddachshund who lives with us.
